About the Designer
Veronica Apsan is an award-winning humanitarian, fashion designer, eco-conscious thought leader who has worked with non-profits like Make-A-Wish America, Children of United Nations Foundation (UNICEF), United Federation of Teachers (UFT) and Culture for One Foster Care Organization (CFO.)
Veronica is on a slow-fashion mission, promoting responsible fashion and healthy lifestyles. In addition to being hired to design custom wardrobes, she collaborates with scientists with the aim to develop smart fabrics that improve human health and well-being.
She is passionate about using fashion innovation for a way to uplift people and our environment through design, fabric technology, conversation, and collective action.
Veronica is an Instructor at Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) and is partnered with F.I.Tâs strategic planning team to create the future of fashion education. Veronica has spoken about fabric technology & entrepreneurship on panels at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (M.I.T) and Fashion Institute of Technology (F.I.T), and Microsoft.
